Ronald van der Wouden, Managing Director

Ronald van der Wouden is a Managing Director at RockCreek, focusing on risk and analytics. Prior to joining RockCreek, he served as Co-Head of Risk Management in the World Bank Treasury, where he was responsible for risk management across several businesses and helped integrate impact and ESG into the investment mission.

Ronnie also served in the World Bank’s Investment Management Department, where he developed innovative Asset Liability Management and Strategic Asset Allocation strategies. He also conducted research on “optimal” pension plan design, covering allocation to hedge funds and private equity, and he worked extensively on pension reform.

Before joining the World Bank, Ronnie worked at Robeco Asset Management Group and at Ortec Management Consultants in the Netherlands. He received a M.S. degree in Econometrics from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
