Peter Cline, Managing Director

Peter Cline is a Managing Director at RockCreek, where he is a member of the private markets investment team, with a primary focus on private equity and venture capital. 

Before joining RockCreek, Pete worked at Cambridge Associates, an investment advisory firm serving endowments, foundations, pensions, and high net worth family offices. At Cambridge Associates, he was responsible for data analysis and maintaining relationships with investment managers across the private markets asset classes. 

Pete graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, magna cum laude, with a B.S. in business administration and finance, holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Pete is on the Investment Advisory Board for Virginia Venture Partners, a non-profit formed to support Virginia’s vision for the expansion of innovation, opportunity, and job creation in the Commonwealth.
