Ken LaPlace, Managing Director

Ken LaPlace is a Managing Director at RockCreek, focusing on the research process for global and developed market equity and alternative strategies. Before joining RockCreek, Ken was a Senior Research Associate at Cambridge Associates, where he oversaw the development of marketable alternative asset manager coverage within the firm’s investment manager database group. He also contributed to various research reports on alternative investment managers.

Ken received his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1996 and he holds an MBA from The George Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude. When not investing, Ken enjoys boating, fishing, and following Hokie sports.
